Julie looked after our dog when we were away for a week on holiday and she did a great job. Dash was made to feel very welcome, immediately befriended Julie and had lots of fun. Julie updated us regularly and shared some photos so we could see what the dogs were up to. I will definitely use Maddie’s Retreat in the future and would highly recommend for a professional and homely stay for your pup!!

What amazing doggy boarding. Julie took fantastic care of Dougal whilst we were on holiday. Paddling pools for him in the hot weather and plenty of walks. He was sad to leave after having made so many new doggy friends. The dogs really do just play together and relax together under Julie’s supervision. I was sent regular updates on Dougal which was very reassuring. He was even groomed several times. Fantastic care from someone who clearly adores dogs.

Bingo goes to Julie regularly and has been for over a year, he loves it and whenever we mention Julie’s name he gets excited and runs to the car. Loves making new friends there and Julie is the only person we would trust to look after him while we’re away! Highly recommend!

Maddie’s Retreat is a home from home friendly fun loving safe space! For your pets! I could tell straight away on our first visit that Coco was going to love staying there. She didn’t want to come home! Julie is amazing with the animals she has so much love and dedication towards them! And it really shows! I would really recommend Maddie’s Retreat!

My little Yorkie loves to go to Julie’s and I feel reassured when she goes there that she will be looked after really well and surrounded by other little dogs. Julie has extensive knowledge of animals and is very committed to her job and looking after other peoples pets making sure they feel at home. She’s very patient with my dog and very careful and aware of safety issues. Highly recommended.

Just came back from a week away on a family holiday having never left my dog with anyone other than friends before. It was lovely to see how well settled and looked after he has been at Maddie’s Retreat. I got plenty of updates throughout his stay with pictures showing all the fun he was having. Maddie's Retreat really is a home from home for our dog. He absolutely loves going to stay with Julie and gets really excited when we mention her name. Julie and her family treat the dogs in there care as if they were their own and they want for nothing. I would highly recommend them.

After I lost one of my little dogs and didn't want to put my other one into kennels Julie stepped up for me and took my little dog into her home. She did a check first to make sure she fitted in and after a successful visit i felt comfortable leaving my little dog with her. When I came back from my weekend away it was quite apparent she'd settled in well and was comfortable there. I know she was well looked after and would definitely use Julie again in the future and would recommend her, Thanks Julie.

Julie was amazing with my adopted bull dog Buster, I was very worried at first because Buster hadn’t got on previously with any other dogs . Julie suggested I took Buster round to her house to meet her dogs. The way she dealt with Buster was amazing, she slowly and calmly won Busters trust and after a short time Buster was playing with her dogs. It was amazing to see and often we meet up and take the dogs out together. Julie has a hidden gift around all animals but especially dogs.

Alfie has just started to go to Maddie’s retreat and he loves it! He has fun with the other dogs and is very well looked after! I feel so reassured that he is having a great time! I will definitely be using Maddie’s retreat and Julie on a regular basis including boarding!

I’ve sent my dog to Julie for years, I wouldn’t trust anyone else with her, she’s very nervous so doesn’t like the kennel experience. Julie provides a home from home experience and my dog has always been so happy and well looked after she runs in when we arrive and makes herself at home, I would highly recommend.

Our miniature sausage dog had his first doggie day care with Julie, he is a shy little dog but by the end of the day he had made new friends and loved it. First class for doggie day care and Julie is absolutely brilliant for your dogs needs .
